Hospitality Night 2023

Hospitality Night in Laguna Beach is always a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. This event is a great opportunity for the Laguna beach community to come together and celebrate. Here are some details about Hospitality Night 2023:

  • Date: Friday, December 1
  • Time: Approximately 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Location: Peppertree Lot (Lot 2) in Laguna Beach

The festivities will include singing carols, mingling with neighbors, and, of course, the highlight of the evening, watching Santa Claus light the Christmas tree at 6:10 pm. It’s a festive event that brings the community together and is sure to spread holiday cheer.

Make sure to mark your calendar and join in the fun if you’re in the Laguna Beach area on the first Friday of December!

Tentative Schedule

  • 4:00pm Downtown street closures begin*
  • 4:00pm – 10:00pm Free trolley and neighborhood on-demand service
  • 5:15pm – 5:45pm Elementary Schools Honors Choruses performs on Fountain Plaza stairs
  • 5:00pm – 5:30pm Thurston Middle School Band performs in the Peppertree Lot
  • 5:00pm – 7:00pm Enjoy holiday crafts and activities in the Peppertree Lot
  • 5:00pm -7:00pm Laguna Beach Presbyterian Art Market, La Playa Tamales, Homemade Cookies and Cider, Open Sanctuary, Dinner2Go, Prayer Candles, and Caroling
  • 5:30pm – 5:55pm Ukulele Band performs in the Peppertree Lot
  • 5:55pm – 6:10pm Community sing along in Peppertree Lot
  • 6:10pm Santa Claus arrives at the Peppertree Lot to light the tree
  • 6:15pm – 7:30pm Laguna Community Concert and JaZz Band performs
  • 6:30pm – 7:00pm LBPAB perform on Fountain Plaza Stairs 
  • 6:30pm – 9:00pm Santa Claus arrives at his stage deck to listen to children’s Christmas wishes
  • 6:30pm – 6:45pm Anneliese School performs on Main Stage on Forest Ave.
  • 7:00pm – 9:00pm Salty Suites play live on main stage on Forest Ave.
  • 6:30pm – 9:00pm Business open houses

* Street closures in the downtown area will begin at 4:00pm on Friday. Portions of Forest Avenue, Beach Street, Mermaid, and the Pepper Tree Parking Lot will be closed to vehicular traffic prior to and during the event.
